SMALL TRADES
Looking at Irving Penn’s "Small Trades" photographs was Moon's starting point. She was interested in the documentation of skilled workers from the mid-20th century, like blacksmiths who wore aprons which were not easy to move in, but had a slit at the front allowing to sit more comfortably. With these ideas in mind, she wanted to create a functional yet striking barista apron.
