ROSIE THE RIVETER

Jimin's muse is Rosie the Riveter, a cultural icon of World War II, representing the women who worked in factories producing ammunition and war supplies. The basic shape idea is derived from Rosie's typical look: an apron with denim overalls or a skirt. Jimin's South Korean traditional knotting technique is combined with denim and applied as embroidery on the surface.
