"Boro" are clothes born in Japan's poorest areas. Their beauty lies in being handcrafted and Hana wants to change the negative image these clothes have. Red in Japan is the color of happiness and in old Japan red fabric was very expensive. This is a red boro made with a piece of kimono and red dyed denim.
