SUSPENDED BODIES THAT WILL NEVER FALL
This couture collection is based on the state of uncertainty in which the future lies, caused by a static balance between opposite entities that are not yet aligned. In Rafael’s work human beings, clothing and waste turn into suspended bodies that will never fall, representing a kind of new escapism. Swiss textile heritage mixes with African craftsmanship to form a new unity and a military aesthetic that becomes exotic and dazzling.
