ITS Time for Coffee Award

In 2018 Swatch and illycaffè spontaneously collaborated on a special project, envisioning a unique life experience for one of the ITS 2018 finalists. The ITS Time for Coffee Award offered finalist Tolu Coker a 3-month residency at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai to work on a watch & coffee cup idea, breathing art 24/7. This artist residency has been bringing together over the last eight years artists from around the world, offering them to experience a unique cultural environment and to develop their own art projects, in the heart of the extraordinary city of Shanghai. The focus of the residency is on creative exchange and creating a cross cultural as well as a cross disciplinary dynamic community.
Tolu’s unique experience takes now shape and her out-of-the-ordinary artistic craftsmanship is finally showcased at ITS 2019!
