CHOREOGRAPHIC ACCESSORIES
The body moves and dances every day as we puton and interact with our accessories. We executegestures that we are unaware of by wearing andcarrying accessories: our body repeats movementsthat remind of dance choreographies if taken outof context. The way we put on shoes, lift bags andswing them over our back are part of daily routinesand unconscious processes, they have a biggerinfluence on our habits than we are aware of.Fabia’s idea was to create accessories which wouldforce the wearer to perform a certain movementwhile using them. A choreography dictated by designwhich also provides awareness of our posturalbehaviours.
